RecDesk allows you to display responsive slideshows in your RecDesk Community portal by allowing you to include "embed code" from Flickrit**. You first need to upload your pictures to Flickr or Picasa, and share them to the PUBLIC. Then Flickrit will pull in your pictures and create the embed code for you. After this is done, follow these steps to get the embed code:

1. Go to flickrit.com.

2. In the left panel of the screen complete as follows:

Change SLIDESHOW LAYOUT to Responsive

Make Height 80 (percent of parent width)

If you'd like to use pictures uploaded to your Flickr account, choose a SLIDESHOW SELECTION of Flickr, and proceed to Flickr Photo Selection below

If you'd like to use pictures uploaded to your Picasa account, choose a SLIDESHOW SELECTION of Picasa, and proceed to Picasa Photo Selection below

Flickr Photo Selection

To get all photos in your Photostream on Flickr:

Go to your Flickr account

Hover over You, and click Photostream

Look at the URL at the top of your browser (beginning with https://www.flickr.com/photos/account_name/), and copy the account_name to the clipboard

Go back to Flickrit, choose Get photos from a Flickr user from the PHOTO SELECTION drop down list, and paste the account_name in the box labeled "Enter a user ID"

Click on the MORE OPTIONS arrow to choose more options if you'd like

Click on the Verify arrow and complete the FunCaptcha verification

Click on the green "Generate Embed Code" button

When your slideshow looks the way you like it, copy the EMBED CODE to the clipboard, and proceed to Paste Embed Code below.

To get all photos in a Flickr Album:

Go to your Flickr account

Hover over You, and click Albums

Click on the album from which you'd like to create a slideshow

Look at the URL at the top of your browser (beginning with https://www.flickr.com/photos/account_name/sets/album_number), and copy the album_number to the clipboard

Go back to Flickrit, choose Get photos from a Flickr set / album from the PHOTO SELECTION drop down list, and paste the album_number in the box labeled "Enter a set /album ID (not the URL)"

Click on the MORE OPTIONS arrow to choose more options if you'd like

Click on the Verify arrow and complete the FunCaptcha verification

Click on the green "Generate Embed Code" button

When your slideshow looks the way you like it, copy the EMBED CODE to the clipboard, and proceed to Paste Embed Code below.

Picasa Photo Selection

To get all photos in your Photostream on Picasa:

On Flickrit, choose Get photos from a Picasa username from the PHOTO SELECTION drop down list, and paste your Google Username (for example: username@recdesk.com) in the box labeled "Enter a user ID"

Click on the MORE OPTIONS arrow to choose more options if you'd like

Click on the Verify arrow and complete the FunCaptcha verification

Click on the green "Generate Embed Code" button

When your slideshow looks the way you like it, copy the EMBED CODE to the clipboard, and proceed to Paste Embed Code below.

To get all photos in a Picasa Album:

Go to picasaweb.google.com and log in to your Google account

Click on the album from which you'd like to create a slideshow

Look at the Url at the top of your browser (beginning with https://www.picasaweb.google.com/long_number/album_name), and take note of the album_name

Go back to Flickrit, choose Get photos from a Picasa album from the PHOTO SELECTION drop down list, and type in Google_username/album_name in the box labeled "Enter a set /album ID (not the URL)"

Click on the MORE OPTIONS arrow to choose more options if you'd like

Click on the Verify arrow and complete the FunCaptcha verification

Click on the green "Generate Embed Code" button

When your slideshow looks the way you like it, copy the EMBED CODE to the clipboard, and proceed to Paste Embed Code below.

Go back to RecDesk Director and paste the embed code in the Image Gallery Embed Code field in the Facility definition, or follow the steps under Inserting Embed Code into Content if pasting into the content of your RecDesk Community portal.
